RIP
To be honest, in the article she did with RUSSH she did sound a little depressed. This doesn't make it any less sad or okay that someone so young, talented, and on their way to big success has had their life cut short. I'm haunted by her final blog post title: "Say hi to forever."

more appologies...
Sorry for the lack of posts. It's all been a little crazy over here! 9 hour train trips to and from Niagara Falls; crossing into Canada to meet up with an old friend and take advantage of his Dad's $150 gift voucher at the Casino bar; VIP topshop parties... It's all nuts! And still experiencing computer problems when it comes to visual stimuli. I will update as comprehensively as possible on Monday once I'm back in the merry ol' land of Aus and I have a real computer and some time on my hands (provided I don't lapse into a coma after all of this).
P.S. A note to all New Yorkers: UGGS ARE SLIPPERS, NOT SHOES!

appy polly loggies
I just want to apologise for the fact that this has temporarily turned into a travel blog, and that I haven't been able to upload any photos yet to make it more exciting. Sorry if you're bored!
On a different note, I managed to accidentally delete everything from my ipod for the second time in less than two months. So now I have no music for the rest of my travels! That 13 hour plane ride home is going to be a killer. They better show good movies!
Kandinsky
Yesterday I went to the Guggenheim Museum to see the Kandinsky exhibition. All the times I've studied his work at school and uni, I never really liked him. Mainly because the only paintings they ever seem to show us are the four panels that supposedly represent the seasons that were commissioned by some rich guy for his foyer (sorry for the lack of proper info - I'm sure wikipedia can help with that). I can't say I enjoy those paintings at all. But this exhibition opened up a whole new colourful Kandinsky world for me! His works on paper?: Amazing! So cool, and still very modern even 80-odd years later! I highly recommend looking those pieces up. This time I actually wasn't allowed to take photos, so can't show you the paintings myself.
Bondi Road
I spent Halloween out at a little bar called Bondi Road. Yes, Bondi Road. It's an Aussie Bar on New York's lower east side that does (in true Aussie style) $20 all you can drink for 2 hours! Needless to say I was very happy on Halloween. The costumes were great. I have an awesome Polaroid of me and a guy dressed as Gumby! And as soon as I find a scanner you guys will see it! Only the Aussies seemed to know who Gumby was - did no other countries have Gumby? I swear it was an American thing anyway? Oh well.
People really get started early on Halloween here too. Kids were trick or treating from about Thursday til Sunday. It's crazy. At first I loved it, but by Sunday I was thinking "Ok kid, Halloweens over, now you're just being greedy." But it's not only the kids who get into it - the adults do too! Got the shock of my life on Saturday walking down times square surrounded by people; the crowd parted, only to reveal a guy in a werewolf mask right in front of me! I actually jumped! So pathetic!
Anyway, exciting as it all was, I'm glad it's over. They're starting to put christmas decorations up now! As soon as I find a computer to do it I will upload the photos. Sorry about boring blogging at the moment guys!
